I’ve been shooting polaroid film for a while now. Like many, I love the vintage feel, the slowness that film provides. I’ve been collecting my own images, saving them for a time to reflect and look back. I had no idea that I was saving them so that I could share them with others. My photos. They feel so intimate, so me. But as a big believer in sharing vulnerability, I saw them as an opportunity to take a leap.

I’ve heard so many times how hard it is to be an “artist.”
That sharing your work is the most vulnerable part of any artistic endeavor.

It’s true. It is the hardest part. But I’m so glad that I did. If for no other reason than being able to push something out into the world that I made.
So, here it is. That thing that I made. Along with some musings on the creation. It’s an 8 page zine printed on 80lb paper and semi-gloss finish. It includes 8 Polaroids I’ve taken throughout California, as well as snippets of two original poems. It’s terrifying to share, but this seems like something I would want to happen upon in the world. Please enjoy, And most importantly, continue to choose that vulnerability.
